Toximia ; Sal's pre-history
Well, just a week before I discovered "Pale Horse" I stumbled across another band. Not new, no sir. Old band. It's called Toximia, and believe it or not, this was Sal's first serious band job.
They made some serious cool trash metal with a nice touch a la Carnivore. Well, knowing that Sal's drum teacher was Louie Beato from Carnivore, it makes sense. They made a demo "Another Beautiful Day", and released actually an album called "War". There is a whole history behind the band which is actually pretty interesting. Matt Siegel (bass & vocals) which I had contact with last week told me a lot about the band, history and our beloved Sal.
Matt Siegel created a full website for Toximia and the follow up band called Dead Image with all of the music for free download and full history about the band Toximia and Sal. This is interesting read and listening stuff.

I'm still trying to convince Josh Silver to release the songs "Under The Wheels" and "Fallout" but I gues we will never hear them in our lifetime alas. Jewtastic. -

Lol! I can't believe this was nearly a quarter century ago! I just recently downloaded all the live shit we did from the Toximia site! What a blast from the past! I have a bunch of pics from back then, but I won't post them without Sal's permission!

Ah, right on. You know I meant the band right?..lol. Want Peter, Josh, and one other friend(don't remember off the top of my head) did like right after High School. Pretty good actually*smile*....
BUT yes, I would love Josh to do his own music venture, but I don't blame him for having other aspirations*smile*
