WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ANIMAL, REPTILE, ETC?

MY MOST FAVORITE ANIMAL IS THE WOLF. TO ME THE WOLF IS AS MUCH A PART OF OUR HERITAGE AS THE BALD EAGLE & BISON. THEY BELONG HERE AND OUR GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO TAKE THEM OUT. WE CANT HAVE THE WOLVES TAKEN OUT AS THEY ARE A HUUUUUUGE PART OF THE ECOSYSTEM.

My favorite animal is the cat. They always seem to curl up next to you when you most need them and get in your way when you need a break the most.

I also have a large appreciation for aquatic insects. One of the things that I studied while collecting my data for my thesis was aquatic insects. I find it fascinating that I can pick up a rock in a stream and find several different kinds of insects crawling on it. My favorite aquatic insect is the Hellgrammite from the order Megaloptera. They can be black, red, and/or purple in coloration. You can usually find some huge ones under boulders. I've seen some that were 5 inches long at least. They are my favorite aquatic insect because they are big, powerful predators and they are indicative of good water quality.

i went and looked this lil guy up. creepy lil bugger! the pics i found showed one that was 7.5 inches long! i like their fuzzy feathery parts!! they look pretty wikkid, MoGo. thanks again!!

I love dogs (especially great danes), but my second favourite animals are axolotls.

The crow has always been my favorite animal. More cool info about crows here too http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/a-murder-of-crows/crow-fact.... That was a good Nature episode too.

ohhhhhhhh! these are all good!! i do love a cat, bat, and especially the crow!! i love crows!! lions are cool too. i do have a tat of the feral cat society. i would like to get a egyptian cat done sometime.

I have a pet Jackdaw called Mortimer, he fell down a chimney as a chick and wouldn't leave,he lives in an avairy in my garden during the day but comes inside at night, he got out once and was gone for 5 days before he came back home- he's never left me since,I also have a cat,2 dogs,2 ponies,3 sheep,a rabbit ,2 parrots,4 hens, 6 crayfish,a hamster and an oscar fish and I honestly couldn't pick a favorite theyr'e like my kids (and i have 5 of them too).Animals are amazing,I like them alot more than some of my friends, lol x x
