Hey all,
I am moving my little brother down to DC this weekend and will be in the car a vast majority of the weekend. With that knowledge in hand, I have decided to make a playlist of must haves for the trip. Here is what I came up with - tried to make it a little abstract....
1) When Crows Decend Upon You - APHND
2) Bury Me In Smoke - Down
3) Suspended In Dusk - TON
4) Lost At 22 - LOA
5) Demons - Darkest Hour
6) Formula For Failure - Vision Of Disorder
7) Rocket Skates - Deftones
8) Last Walk In The Light - Seventh Void
9) Die Alone - APHND
10) Hope Remains - Times Of Grace
11) Fallen - Volbeat
12) We Hate Everyone - TON
13) The Warp Riders - The Sword
14) Dont Drag Me Down - Social Distortion
15) Chemical Warfare - Slayer (from the Big 4 Live CD)
What do you think? what would be yours?

Need to get My Ruin back on my pc and check out Spinnerette. I'm always looking for new music to listen to seeing as how much I have to drive every week.

Permalink Reply by Vicky Ryder on January 19, 2011 at 10:57am Hey Derek, I live in MD & worked in DC for a long time. If you need any info about the area, hit me up!
Wow, so much on my road trip list. Basically anything I play on #CodeBassRadio (www.codebassradio.com) I listen to in the car, as I'm often tuned into it w/ my Droid. (What station plays more songs I like than the one I run myself! :) So, you'd be apt to hear:
A lot has to do with where I'm going, who I'm with, and the mood and scenery along the way. I tried to think of a list of specific songs for ya, but I could no sooner choose a favorite star in the heavens.
Will be very interested to see other people's lists. Nice thread. :)

Backyard Babies
gee I really don't listen to too many things.

Permalink Reply by Scary Carrie on January 20, 2011 at 7:03pm Discogs pretty much:
1. TON
2. TOOL
3. APHND
4. DEAD IMAGE (I can't get enough of that stuff)
5. PUSCIFER
6. CARNIVORE
Blend on 'shuffle', pour gently as it can melt your face off. Side effects include exaggerated air guitar solos, singing loud enough to wake the dead, and one fucking hell of a good drive.
Optional: Open sunroof for solar worship.
