So, a friend of mine posted a news story on his FB about a guy who got killed by a chicken at a cockfight.

Ok, so as horrible as it is for any human to lose his or her life, I did laugh at the fact this guy ate shit from a chicken. I love life, but I also adore irony. Well, someone on my friends FB made the comment about how "I hope he got a little glimpse of how those roosters feel when they're bleeding to death!" Wait a second. I understand that it is cruel and mean, but my reply was as read: "Yeah! No kidding! It's way worse to have the fight for the death than it is to cut their heads off, let the run around a little while, pick off their feathers, cut them in to pieces, ship them all around the world, deep fry them, and eat their flesh! Cockfighting is so cruel!"
That started the argument. Apparently, cockfighting is just as bad as dogfighting to this lady. In my opinion, there is a HUGE difference. I love my dogs. I'm a proud dog lover. But I've never seen anyone put a sweater on their chicken and walk it down the street. Chickens are stupid. They are here for two things: Broth and Meat. Dogs have a purpose and many qualities that keep them off the plate (minus the Chinese buffet).
Am I the only one that feels this way? I realize this has nothing to do with APHND, but that's why I put this as a blog post and not on the message boards. I need some more opinions on this to see if I am not the only one, or if I'm just being an asshole.
